All products handmade in small batches, in Warm Springs GA.  

Carefully sourced sustainable ingredients are free of petroleum, parabens, and harsh additives.  The only synthetic ingredients are non-plant-based fragrance oils (not in all products) and micas (colorants, also not in all products). 

 Formulas are created to give the best results with the fewest ingredients.  Except for select products with beeswax, milk products or honey, Nourishing Potions products are vegan.

Always check the ingredient list for allergen info.  I do use nut oils in most products and while refined oils (Coconut/Shea/Mango) are not considered allergens, people with nut allergies should speak with their doctor about safeness.  Doing a spot test for any new body product is always a good idea. 

I have a wide of scent free (no added scent) products for people are sensitive to fragrances.  In the shop there is a category you can choose for these.

I have also changed the setup a bit for lotions - there are four categories - Unscented (goat and regular), All Natural Fragrance Oils, All Natural Essential Oils, and Fragrance Oils - pick your size and then you can select the scent.  Lotion scents are based on soap scents.  Soap tidbit - soap is a wash off product, it is not meant to leave a super strong scent on you.  Lotion not only conditions your skin, it gives you added scent.

2025 was a busy year (THANK YOU!) some soap varieties are low.  Dec-Feb are my soap making months as it is too cold for outdoor markets, with curing taking about six weeks, I should be fully restocked by end of March. 

Lotions

I formulate most of my lotion to be medium-thick.  A little goes a long way.  The initial feeling of oil on the skin will be quickly absorbed. 

Salves

Salves are different than lotions.  They are botanically infused ointments meant to soothe or heal different skin issues.  

Butters

These are thicker and meant for problem areas.

Products are scented with either essential oils, plant-based fragrance oils (all natural), or lab created fragrance oils. While scents can be the most pleasing part of products, the main goal of my soap is to help your skin, so I usually aim for medium to subtle fragrance.  You can layer scents using soap/lotion combos for a stronger effect.

Lip balms are made with only natural flavor oils or lip safe essential oils.

100% soy wax.  Get the fragrance of a candle without the burn hazard.  Great for small spaces, houses with kids or pets, or just because.  In addition to the melts, I offer for sale, various wax melt and candle warmers for the flameless candle experience.

• Soap – Most commercial cleaning products are not actually “soap” which in its simplest form is a mix of oil/fat, water, and alkali – so those products are called washes, gels, etc.  With my handmade soap, you can expect non-drying cleanliness that nourishes the skin.   Skin feels refreshed, not stripped.
• Bar Soap – Make sure soap is left where water will drain off after use – like a vented soap dish or rack. 
• Liquid Soap – Commercial body washes usually have a lot of ingredients, including thickeners.  
• Handmade liquid soap is naturally thin, which is why I use foaming bottles.  Thin does not mean you need to use more – just a little will give a rich, cleansing lather.
